U.S., Taiwan reach ‘consensus’ in some areas during text-based talks in Taipei

Negotiators from the U.S. and Taiwan on Tuesday completed a round of talks on a host of issues including trade facilitation and good regulatory practices, reaching “consensus” in some areas and committing to an ambitious schedule for future discussions, according to the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative.
