U.S., others at the WTO question India's agricultural support
The U.S. and other World Trade Organization members this week raised numerous concerns with India' domestic support for agriculture, which India called flawed and untrue. At an Agriculture Committee meeting held on Monday and Tuesday, the U.S. and Australia said India's market price support for cotton and sugarcane far exceed its WTO commitments, as shown in the countries' counter-notifications.
