U.S., Colombian Unions File Complaint Under FTA Labor Chapter, Levin Concurs
The AFL-CIO and five Colombian labor unions on Monday (May 16) filed a petition under the U.S.-Colombia free trade agreement alleging that Colombia has violated its obligations under the FTA to enforce laws that reflect international labor standards in the oil and sugar cane production sectors in five major areas.
