Trump, Starmer say they’ve signed U.S.-UK trade pact
President Trump and United Kingdom Prime Minister Keir Starmer have signed an agreement on bilateral trade, they said following a meeting on the sidelines of the G7 leaders’ summit. “We just signed it, and it’s done,” Trump told reporters , standing beside Starmer. The president then appeared to refer erroneously to the European Union: “We have our trade agreement with the European Union, and it’s a fair deal for both. It’ll produce a lot of jobs, a lot of income.”...
