Tax groups decry possible link of pension legislation to USMCA

A group of tax-focused organizations on Friday came out against a link of a multi-employer pension bill to the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement, an idea House Ways & Means Chair Richard Neal (D-MA) and other lawmakers have contemplated as a means of ensuring both are passed by Congress.
