Tai asks ITC for broad study of U.S., Canadian and Mexican foreign trade zones
The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative has asked the U.S. International Trade Commission to conduct a comprehensive study of North American foreign trade zones a year after advocates lost a battle to keep language that bans goods in FTZs from receiving duty-free treatment out of the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement.
