Tai: Administration has not ‘sworn off’ traditional, market-oriented trade policy
The Biden administration has not “sworn off” market-access openings and tariff-liberalization efforts in its approach to trade policy but will not pursue either at the cost of weakening the supply chain, harming workers or damaging the environment, U.S. Trade Representative Katherine Tai said on Friday.
