Steel and aluminum industry to USTR: Use 301 tariffs to address diverted Chinese exports

The U.S. should expand Section 301 tariffs on China to third countries to protect domestic steel and aluminum producers from heavily subsidized, low-cost Chinese metals, industry representatives told the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative.
