Senate passes investment, export control measures in defense bill
The Senate version of the fiscal year 2026 National Defense Authorization Act, passed on Thursday, includes legislation aimed at restricting U.S. investment in sensitive Chinese sectors and an export control bill to ensure domestic manufacturers have priority access to advanced semiconductors.
