Sen. Risch blasts Biden’s approach to trans-Atlantic cooperation on China

Senate Foreign Relations ranking member Jim Risch (R-ID) on Monday presented a sharp critique of the Biden administration’s trade policies, suggesting they have hindered the U.S.’ ability to work with European partners to counter “an increasingly confrontational China.” In a staff report, “ A review of U.S.-Europe cooperation on China ,” Risch’s GOP staff gave the administration a series of poor grades in a host of areas, including a “D-” on “defending the international trading system.” Much of the blame,...
