Ross, Marquez discuss Section 232, tomato, USMCA issues on sidelines of CEO summit

Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross and Mexican Economy Minister Graciela Márquez on Friday discussed steel and aluminum tariffs, an agreement on Mexican tomato exports and a shared belief that the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement should be quickly ratified. “We had a very constructive meeting about a range of bilateral trade and investment issues,” a Commerce spokesman told Inside U.S. Trade.
