Raimondo: Biden to ‘launch’ the IPEF in Japan

President Biden will formally launch the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework in Japan early next week, Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo said on Tuesday. “I will be with the president in Korea and in Japan and I’m excited to return to Japan and we will be launching the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework with the president when we’re in Japan,” she told reporters.
