Pelosi confident that competition bill can pass Congress before July 4th

Congressional leaders are hoping to wrap up the conference reconciling the Senate’s U.S. Innovation and Competition Act and the House’s America COMPETES Act by the Fourth of July, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said on Thursday. “We’re confident that we can pass the bill and hopefully we can do so in time to celebrate our independence on Fourth of July,” she said.
