Mexico rejects RRM petition, citing USMCA’s ‘non-retroactivity’

The Mexican government on Tuesday said alleged labor violations outlined in a U.S. request under the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement’s rapid-response tool predate the pact and, accordingly, fall outside the mechanism’s scope.
