McCaul, other GOP chairs demand BIS action against Huawei, SMIC

The Bureau of Industry and Security should immediately take steps to sanction Huawei and the Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation and block all U.S. exports to those companies, the chairs of key House committees told the head of the agency on Friday.
