Japan joins interim WTO appeals mechanism as reform talks continue

Japan has decided to join the interim plurilateral appeals mechanism at the World Trade Organization while the Appellate Body remains defunct, becoming the 26th member to do so even as dispute settlement reform talks are ongoing in Geneva.
