Insurance groups make competing pitches to Mnuchin on U.S.-EU insurance deal
Four insurance groups this week voiced their support for a U.S.-EU “covered agreement,” while a fifth group and state regulators argued that the deal -- completed in the final days of the Obama administration -- is too vague and will not provide the desired benefits to the U.S., according to a series of letters sent to Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin.
