Incoming Mexican ag chief: Mexico’s corn imports likely to continue at scale

The incoming Mexican administration will continue its predecessor’s efforts to increase production of non-genetically engineered yellow corn but is not aiming to phase out yellow corn imports in the next six years, Mexico’s next agriculture minister said, suggesting those imports -- the bulk of which comes from the U.S. -- would continue at scale.
