House Democrats to Biden: Relaunch Environmental Goods Agreement talks

A group of Democratic lawmakers on Wednesday introduced a resolution that would direct the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative to resume Environmental Goods Agreement negotiations at the World Trade Organization within 90 days. EGA talks at the WTO began in 2014 and stalled in December 2016. The EGA is designed to eliminate tariffs on environmental products like wind turbines and solar water heaters, among others.
