Florida lawmakers press Lighthizer for seasonal produce ‘trade remedy’

Florida’s House members this week called on U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer to take action this year against what they believe are unfair Mexican trading practices hurting seasonal growers. Lighthizer in January committed to releasing a seasonal produce plan within 60 days of USMCA’s entry into force, which occurred on July 1.
