EU readies countermeasures, WTO litigation against U.S. tariffs

The European Commission on Thursday unveiled a series of proposed retaliatory tariffs and export controls in response to new U.S. tariffs while announcing plans to launch consultations with the U.S. at the World Trade Organization.
