Democratic senators to Biden: Ask for more BIS money to bolster export controls

The Biden administration should request a “significant” funding boost for the Commerce Department’s Bureau of Industry and Security to bolster the agency’s export control mission, four Democratic senators have told the White House. In a Feb. 6 letter to President Biden , Senate Finance Committee members Sherrod Brown (D-OH), Bob Menendez (D-NJ) and Mark Warner (D-VA) were joined by Sen.
