Dates set for next Privacy Shield review as U.S. industry, privacy advocates defend agreement

U.S. and EU officials will meet in Brussels in October to review the Privacy Shield framework, according to a key industry group, amid calls from the EU Parliament to suspend the agreement unless U.S. fixes are made. The officials will take part in the second annual review on Oct. 18-19, according to the Information Technology Industry Council’s John Miller.
