Commerce releases final rule to address currency undervaluation with CVDs
The Commerce Department on Monday published a final regulation governing the use of countervailing duties on countries that undervalue their currencies relative to the U.S. dollar. Commerce last May released a draft rule that prompted some questions about how the proposal would be implemented and whether it would give the agency too much authority, among other concerns.
