Commerce releases controversial report on Section 232 probe of auto imports
The Commerce Department on Tuesday released a controversial 2019 report recommending then-President Trump consider national security-based trade restrictions on auto imports -- a report long sought by members of Congress that the Trump administration claimed was protected by executive privilege.
