Colombia delays safety regulations that USTR said could ‘halt’ U.S. auto exports
Colombia has delayed the implementation of auto safety regulations that U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer said could have halted U.S. auto exports to the country. The regulations include a plan to require third-party certification for certain auto parts. Colombia was set to begin implementing the new regulations on May 2.
