Canada formally challenges U.S. tariffs at the WTO, seeks expedited talks

Ottawa has formally filed suit against President Trump’s 25 percent tariff on Canadian goods and 10 percent tariff on Canadian energy at the World Trade Organization, arguing the measures violate WTO rules and seeking to fast-track initial steps since the products subject to the duties include perishable goods.
