Canada argues NAFTA partners should be exempt from solar safeguards

The Canadian government and the Canadian solar industry have told the U.S. that because the country is not a “top-five” source of solar imports under investigation in a global safeguard case at the U.S. International Trade Commission, its participation in NAFTA should exempt it from any remedies.
