Bipartisan Senate bill calls for sharing counterfeit import data with IP owners
A new Senate bill introduced this week and included in a package of amendments to an annual must-pass defense bill would allow government officials to share information on imports of suspected counterfeit goods with intellectual property rightsholders to help identify and curb the flow of fake goods.
