Argentina initiates WTO dispute with U.S. over duties on oil pipes

Argentina has launched a World Trade Organization dispute with the U.S. over antidumping duties on pipes used in oil and gas production, arguing the U.S. determination did not accord with WTO rules. The U.S. International Trade Commission last November issued its final determination related to oil country tubular goods from Argentina, Mexico and Russia, finding that the U.S. industry “is materially injured” by imports from these countries.
