‘Americas Act’ would provide APEP member countries a pathway to USMCA

The long-awaited “Americas Act,” a bill to overhaul the U.S. trade and investment relationship in the Western Hemisphere, singles out Americas Partnership for Economic Prosperity countries as prime candidates to join the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement, according to the legislative text, set to be unveiled on Wednesday, and its sponsors.
