Ambassador: EU ‘ready to react’ to any trade ‘frictions’ with the U.S.
The European Union is prepared to respond as needed to any new trade tensions initiated by the incoming U.S. administration, the bloc’s ambassador said on Friday, while stressing that Brussels is looking to advance what she described as a “positive” trans-Atlantic agenda on trade as well as economic security.
