Advisory panel: Probe Buy American Act’s effects on energy equipment makers

The federal government should investigate whether the Buy American Act is failing to support U.S. manufacturers of renewable energy equipment, the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Advisory Committee has recommended.
