Advisory groups weigh in on trilateral USMCA; reports cite de minimis, 232 issues

Key advisory committees to the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative have revised their comments on the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement following Canada's last-minute addition to the deal, praising the trilateral conclusion but singling out additional provisions they think warrant more consideration. USTR this week published the advisory panels' addenda to reports that were filed on Sept. 27, ahead of the USMCA's Sept. 30 text release.
