The Senate this weekend is poised to consider legislation reauthorizing the Export-Import Bank sponsored by Sens. Mark Kirk (R-IL) and Heidi Heitkamp (D-ND) as an amendment to the pending highway bill, with the earliest possible vote occurring on Sunday (July 26). That vote would invoke cloture on the amendment and give senators 30 hours to debate it.
