EU Adopts TFA, Raising Ratifications To Nearly Half Required For Implementation

The European Union on Thursday (Oct. 1) finalized its ratification of the Trade Facilitation Agreement with a Council decision, more than doubling the number of World Trade Organization members to do so. With that step, the number of TFA ratifications rises to 48 members, which is roughly half of the 108 required for implementation.
