Peru Secures 10-Year Transition Period For Biologics, Minister Says

Peruvian Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism Magali Silva on Tuesday (Oct. 6) said Peru has secured a transition period of 10 years to implement the obligations in the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) on biologics drugs, which she said would require Peru to pass legislation setting forth a period of five years of data exclusivity for these types of medicines.
