U.S. Grants Canada Combined 19,200 Tons Of New Sugar Access

On top of the sugar market access it granted Australia under the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), the United States has also agreed to grant additional access for Canada in the amount of 19,200 metric tons. The new Canadian access consists of two separate tariff-rate quotas of 9,600 metric tons of beet sugar and 9,600 metric tons of sugar-containing products (SCP), according to informed sources.
