Several House Democrats who voted in favor of fast-track legislation last month are preparing to send a letter to U.S. Trade Representative Michael Froman calling on him to ensure that the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) rules on pharmaceutical intellectual property (IP) do not undermine access to medicines in developing countries, according to non-governmental sources on both sides of the IP debate.
