Biden To Press EU Leaders On Bilateral Trade Deal As Part Of Broader Agenda
Vice President Joe Biden next week expects to discuss a potential U.S.-EU trade deal with the leaders of the United Kingdom, Germany and France to gauge whether they are willing to address the tough issues that are expected to emerge if the two sides decide to launch negotiations, according to Michael Froman, deputy national security adviser for international economic affairs, during a Jan. 31 press call on Biden's Feb. 1-5 trip to Europe.
