Vilsack: Japan Beef Market Access Talks Delayed By Ministry Turnover
U.S. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack this week said that the U.S. and Japan have still not initiated technical-level talks on increased market access for U.S. beef exports to Japan, partly because the Japanese agriculture ministry has experienced a lot of turnover this year and the U.S. has needed to give it time to stabilize.
