At WTO, U.S. bashes biodiesel appeal process; Korea calls for washers decision compliance

The United States intervened at an Oct. 26 meeting of the World Trade Organization's Dispute Settlement Body to lambaste the procedural approach taken by the Appellate Body in reviewing the European Union-Argentina biodiesel dispute, but also came under pressure from Korea to comply with an Appellate Body report that found its method of “zeroing” to violate provisions of the Antidumping Agreement.
