Senate Finance Committee Chairman Orrin Hatch (R-UT) this Monday (July 27) reiterated his demand that a final Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) deal require 12 years of data exclusivity for biologic medicines, following reports that TPP countries might settle on seven or eight years instead.
