Chinese Aluminum Industry Says Expansion Needed To Meet Demand

The Chinese aluminum industry defended its production practices during a 10-hour U.S. International Trade Commission hearing on Sept. 29, with Chinese business officials testifying that most of the country's existing production meets current domestic demand, and that China needs to add another 10 million pounds of capacity in the next decade to meet future demand.
